Caring for your Studio Arby pieces is easy, just follow these simple instructions to keep them at their best.

Trays and coasters - Studio Arby’s trays and coasters are made with the upmost attention to be fully functional objects. They are varnished with a carefully selected industrial level varnish to fully protect them, so please do not be afraid to use them!

The trays and coasters are water resistant and protected from any mould or mildew that could occur. We do however recommend wiping pieces clean after each use. If you have a spill whilst you’re using it you should clean and dry it immediately (they should not sit in water for extended periods of time). This is easily done with a damp cloth or if you’d prefer a surface cleaning spray. Regular gentle cleaning will prevent any long term stains or potential damage.

Do not use any bleach based or abrasive products.

The trays and coasters are UV protected so can happily sit in a sunny spot or be used outside without fear of colour fading or deterioration.

Mail Stands - The mail stands are fitted with two saw tooth hangers and providing they are hung carefully and correctly from the wall can hold up to 10 lbs. They have solid brass hooks for maximum rust and corrosion resistance. The pieces are colour fixed to prevent fading or smudging and are safe to touch, they should however avoid contact with liquids and instead be gently dusted.

Flower sculptures - These pieces are sealed with a gentle fixative to protect from fading , UV damage or smudging. Flowers should only be lifted or turned using the base block. These pieces should not come into contact with any liquid as this may cause the colours to run or the base wood to warp, we instead suggest that they are gently dusted when necessary.
